Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached out to citizens through an open letter and urged them for feedback on shaping India’s future as Viksit Bharat. Mr Modi said that during the last ten years, the nation has taken huge leaps and witnessed tremendous growth. He highlighted that the nation is moving forward by taking both tradition and modernity hand in hand, with a rejuvenation of India’s rich national and cultural heritage. The Prime Minister mentioned that today every citizen is proud that the nation is marching ahead while also celebrating its rich culture.
Mr Modi mentioned that pivotal schemes and movements such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Matru Vandana Yojana, implementation of GST, abrogation of Article 370, Nari Shakti Vandan Act and the inauguration of a new Parliament building have transformed the nation. The Prime Minister said that this transformation was possible only due to the trust that the people had placed in him.
Touching upon the topic of Janbhagidari, Prime Minister Modi said that public participation is the beauty of democracy. He praised the popular support and said that it gives him the immense strength to make bold decisions for the nation’s welfare, draw up aspirational plans and implement them smoothly.
Mr. Modi urged the people to provide suggestions and support to fulfil the resolve of building a Viksit Bharat that will take the nation to great heights.
