Nation is remebering martyrs who lost their lives in Pulwama attacks in 2019. The day marks the 6th year of horrific terror attacks in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir where 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tributes to the soldiers who lost their lives in this attack. In a social media post, Mr Modi said the coming generations will never forget their sacrifice and their unwavering dedication to the nation. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack.

In a social media post, Mr Shah said, terrorism is the biggest enemy of the entire human race, and the whole world has united against it. He added Narendra Modi government is determined to completely destroy the terrorists by running a campaign against them.

On February 14, 2019, the country suffered one of the most fatal attacks in its events – the Pulwama Terror Attack, which resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans and many others. It was executed by the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist group operating from Pakistan.

The attack sent tremors throughout India and is remembered every year as ‘Black Day’ to pay tribute to the heroes and to contemplate the struggle against terrorism.
