Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to Kalaignar Karunanidhi on his 100th birth anniversary on Monday. In a social media post, Mr Modi said, in his long years in public life, Karunanidhi worked towards the development of Tamil Nadu and the Tamil people. Prime Minister said, he is widely respected for his scholarly nature.
