Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tributes to the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu K. Kamaraj on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Modi said,  K Kamraj was a stalwart who devoted his life to India’s development and his emphasis on social empowerment is a guiding force for all. 

Mr. Modi said that we reiterate our commitment to fulfilling his vision towards poverty alleviation and public welfare.
