President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to the country’s first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on his birth anniversary today.

 

 

 

In a social media post, the Prime Minister remarked that, as the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, Dr. Rajendra Prasad made an invaluable contribution in laying a strong foundation for Indian democracy. He said, today, as all countrymen celebrate 75 years of the Constitution, Rajendra Prasad’s life and ideals have become even more inspiring.
