PM Modi underscores role of youth in making India a developed nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the potential of India’s youth will soon make India a developed nation. Speaking at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today, Mr Modi said, that India’s Yuva Shakti is driving remarkable transformations. On the occasion of National Youth Day today, he said, his faith lies in the new generation and the young generation will find solutions to all problems. Prime Minister Modi said, achieving ambitious goals requires the active participation and collective effort of every citizen of the nation. He highlighted that India is accomplishing its goals in numerous sectors ahead of time. 
 
Prime Minister Modi said a developed India will be one that is empowered economically, strategically, socially and culturally. He said, the economy will boom and there will be plenty of opportunities to earn and learn. Mr Modi highlighted that in the past decade, 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty. He said India is rapidly moving towards being a five trillion dollar economy. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the Indian economy will cross the milestone of 10 trillion dollars by the end of the next decade.  
 
Prime Minister Modi said the entire nation is remembering Swami Vivekananda today. He added that Swami Vivekananda had immense faith in the youth of the country. Mr Modi said the youth of the nation will definitely fulfil the dream of a developed India. He said, the world saw Chandrayaan’s success, and now we are preparing for the Gaganyaan. He said the country has to establish its own station in the space by 2035. Mr Modi also said that by the end of this decade, India has set a goal of producing 500 Giga Watt of electricity.
The Prime Minister announced that the ideas and suggestions from the Young Leaders Dialogue will now become part of national policies, guiding the country’s development. He said, achieving big goals is not solely the responsibility of government machinery but requires the collective effort of every citizen. Mr Modi reiterated his commitment to bringing one lakh new young people into politics. 
The three-day Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue began on Friday and provided a unique platform for youth to present innovative solutions for Viksit Bharat. During the event, Mr. Modi engaged with three thousand dynamic young leaders from across the country. The Prime Minister also released a compilation of the best essays written by participants on the ten themes. These themes encompass diverse areas such as technology, sustainability, women empowerment, manufacturing, and agriculture. The Viksit Bharat Dialogue offered young leaders an opportunity to engage directly with policymakers, and national and global icons while contributing their ideas for shaping the nation’s future.
