PM Modi has established excellent relations with Japan and as a result, Japan is cooperating with India to a large extent: Devendra Fadnavis

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established excellent relations with Japan and as a result, Japan is cooperating with India to a large extent. Mr. Fadnavis was speaking to reporters on Saturday after he arrived in Mumbai after completing his 5-day visit to Japan.
 
Fadnavis said that he was invited by Japan as a 'state guest'. He informed that during this tour, meetings were held with Japanese government ministers, Prime Minister's advisers, various companies and officials. He stated that the Japanese government has expressed willingness to assist in the development of the Versova-Virar sea link in the state. He informed that Japan has also shown readiness to help in the Metro 11 project, Mumbai flood management projects etc. He added that Governors of various provinces also met him and showed their willingness to visit Maharashtra with a delegation of investors. Discussions were also held with companies like NTT, Sony etc.
 
Mr. Fadnavis also said that Japan has shown great faith in the potential of New India and state government will try to ensure that a major share of it comes to Maharashtra. Fadnavis expressed belief that investments will come to the state in various sectors.

Fadanvis also mentioned that a large number of Marathi brothers gathered in Japan for the landing of the Chandrayaan mission. He stated that he was very happy to be able to sit with them and watch the ceremony.
