Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the people of Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh on the formation day of their states today. In a social media post, the Prime Minister wished for the happiness and success of the people of these states. He highlighted that Karnataka is blessed with outstanding people, who are powering growth and innovation across sectors. He noted that Kannada Rajyotsava is a very special occasion, recognising the exemplary culture and traditions of Karnataka.
The Prime Minister said that Kerala state is known for its mesmerizing landscapes, vibrant traditions and hardworking people. He said that People from Kerala have made their mark all over the world, across different fields.
Extending greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh, Mr Modi remarked that this state, adorned with a wonderful confluence of glorious folk traditions and tribal culture, continues to progress rapidly on the path of development.
Mr Modi highlighted that Haryana, known for its rich historical heritage, has always contributed significantly to the development of the country.
He further said that Madhya Pradesh, a state rich in natural wealth and cultural heritage, continues to set new standards of development in every field.
