Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief at the demise of CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury. in a social media post, Mr Modi said that Mr Yechury was a leading light of the Left and was known for his ability to connect across the political spectrum. Mr Modi added that he also made a mark as an effective Parliamentarian. The Prime Minister said, his thoughts are with Mr Yechury’s family and admirers in this sad hour.
