Prime Minister Narendra Modi today criticized Jharkhand’s Mukti Morcha for jeopardizing people’s identity and culture in the state for vote bank politics. Addressing the Parivartan Mahasabha in Hazaribagh, Mr Modi said the state will move on the path of development only after removing Hemant Soren government from power. He termed the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra not as a mere political campaign, but as a movement to safeguard the state’s future, and promised security for Jharkhand’s daughters, land, and livelihoods under a BJP-led government. He said the BJP guarantees that the safety of these three will be ensured if the government is formed here. The Prime Minister blamed the Congress-JMM-RJD alliance for rampant corruption and mismanagement, claiming it has betrayed the very people who voted for them in the name of protecting the state’s natural resources.
Mr Modi said that the demography of the Santhal Pargana has been changed because of infiltration from neighbouring Bangladesh.
