Terming Congress’ manifesto as a bundle of lies, Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi on Saturday (6th April 2024) announced that his third term is not far off and that the BJP government is going to take bigger decisions in the first 100 days against corruption. Mr. Modi was addressing an election meeting this afternoon in Pushkar of Rajasthan. He said that the action that took place in last ten years is a trailer. There is a lot that needs to be done. He termed the Congress manifesto as a bundle of lies and said that each of its pages smells of dividing the nation.
He said that today’s Congress has neither principles nor policies left. It seems that Congress has given everything on contract. Such a Congress cannot do any work in the interest of the country. Making a scathing attack on Congress, he said that it is a family based party and on top of that it is an equally corrupt party. He said that the BJP is committed to building a new India.
Speaking on his guarantees, he said that Happiness, respect, security and prosperity of women power is Modi’s guarantee.
He said that making India a developed nation by 2047, will happen only when the participation of half of the country’s population is increased. Mr. Modi said that the shine of Rajasthan in the army is not only because of the brave soldiers with long moustaches, but because of their mothers. The PM said that the one who could never ride a bicycle is today flying a drone in the village. Women are handling big projects for ISRO. India has the highest percentage of women pilots in the world.
Mr. Modi said that major changes were started in the country after the government came to power with full majority in 2014. He said that India is building big bridges on the sea. The security of the border is being increased by building tunnels in the mountains. Referring to the previous regime of Congress Government in the state, Mr. Modi said that there was news about paper leaks, mafias and share of loot. After the coming of the BJP government in power, strict action is being taken against paper mafias. He said that the state government has agreed on the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) which was pending for years within 100 days. ERCP is going to end the water crisis in large areas of Rajasthan. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also addressed the program.
