PM Modi addresses 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha' in Jaipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the power of people's vote achieved the 33 per cent reservation in Lok Sabha and State assemblies as, for many years, women had been waiting for it to be passed by Parliament. Mr Modi was addressing the 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha' in Jaipur on Monday evening. The Prime Minister said that work on the new Parliament was started on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The first work in the new building was dedicated to the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country and the 33 per cent Reservation Bill was passed by the Parliament, which had been pending for many decades. Taking on Congress and other opposition parties on women's reservation issue, Mr. Modi said that they too had got opportunities, but they kept stalling women's reservation. He said that today under public pressure the Opposition parties have come together with the Government on the issue of women's reservation.
 
Mr. Modi said, the pride of the country is high in the sky and India is being praised across the world. Mr Modi said that our Chandrayaan reached where no country in the world could reach. He said that even the country's enemies are surprised by the success of G-20. The Prime Minister said that BJP means guarantee of fulfillment of whatever has been promised. He said that he is working diligently in serving the countrymen. Referring to the 'One Rank One Pension' and steps taken to curb corruption, Mr Modi said that when the intentions are clear, fulfilling the guarantee becomes an identity.
 
Discussing the various schemes implemented in the last nine years, the Prime Minister said that NDA government worked to remove the problems of the common citizens. He said that the Central Government has paid attention to every sector including education, health and industrial development. The welfare of farmers has been the priority of the Government.
 
Raising questions on the functioning of the Congress government in Rajasthan, Mr Modi said that the manner in which the State Government has been run in the last five years deserves a zero mark. He said that the public support received by BJP's Parivartan Sankalp Yatras is a sign that the climate of Rajasthan has changed.
 
Referring to paper leak and law and order situation of the State, the Prime Minister said that anger against the Congress government of the State is increasing. He said that after the formation of the BJP government in the State, strict action will be taken against the paper leak mafia. He said that any mafia playing with the future of the youth will not be spared.
