Campaigning is at its peak for the seventh and last phase of the election in Uttar Pradesh. Star campaigners of various political parties campaigned for their party candidates on Sunday.
Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur, Mau and Bansgaon on Sunday. He said that the country has decided to form the BJP-NDA government for the third time because of its good intentions and policies. Mr Modi claimed that he is dedicated to the poor, dalits and backward people of the country. He added that reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and other deprived groups will not be given to Muslims based on religion. Mr Modi said that under the Yogi government, action is being taken against the mafias.
UP CM and senior BJP leader Yogi Adityanath addressed public meetings in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Ghazipur and Gorakhpur in favor of the party candidate today. Mr Yogi said that it is our fortune that we are seeing a new India under the leadership of Mr Modi. He said, the country is moving towards becoming a global power, and borders have been secured in 10 years.
Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav addressed political gatherings in Salempur and Ballia today. He said that today people were upset over the increasing inflation rate and unemployment. Farmers were cheated by false promises of doubling their income in BJP regime. He claimed that in BJP regime, loans of 25 lakh crore rupees have been waived for big houses, but if INDI bloc comes to power, we will waive all farmers’ loan.
Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda addressed the media in Varanasi and said that the farmers community is feeling cheated.
