Union Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal has said that the incident of rape and murder of a doctor in Kolkata is unfortunate. Mr. Goyal stated that he strongly stands with all the women and daughters. The Minister added that the nation will not tolerate any such incidents in the future.

Piyush Goyal today celebrated Raksha Bandhan in New Delhi with women who received citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act. On this occasion, Mr. Goyal assured them that the country will always protect them.
