Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said personal data of the every citizen will be protected in the digital domain by the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill. The Bill was passed by the Parliament yesterday. Talking to media in New Delhi, Mr Vaishnaw said, the digital world will now become safer, more trustworthy and it will have a significant impact on the lives of common citizens. He said, today, 140 crore countrymen are the part of the digital journey, which was started by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015.
