Even as it is election time,barricades set up by flying squads is visible at many places in Highways and in district borders across the State. Election immediate vehicles, Election Observors are busy touring different parts of the State. The DMK President and State Chief Minister MK Stalin will begin the Statewide electioneering tour today from Tiruchi and will conclude campaigning in Chennai on April 17th. Senior leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also garner votes for the NDA on the first week of April at Vellore.
The AIADMK Party has released the manifesto today. The Party’s general Secretary and former Chief Minister E.Palanisami released the manifesto which has 133 assurances for the ensuing general elections including an alternate exam for NEET and monthly assistance of Rs. 3000 to women alongwith establishing an airport in Ramanathapuram and Kanyakumari.
