Panchayati Raj Ministry and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have collaborated for strengthening service delivery and engaging communities for social change. According to the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, this collaboration will help accelerate progress on localised Sustainable Development Goals. It will enable better communication with people and improve the delivery of services to rural citizens. The Ministry said it is committed to using technology to ensure that important government policies reach rural areas quickly and effectively. It said this effort will empower rural citizens to make informed decisions, improve service delivery, and increase transparency in governance.
