The Panchayati Raj Ministry will organize a One-Day Finance Commissions Conclave themed “Devolution to Development” in New Delhi tomorrow. The Conclave will be held under the leadership of the 16th Finance Commission Chairman, Dr. Arvind Panagariya. The event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss and enhance the role of State Finance Commissions in the effective allocation of funds to Rural Local Bodies. The conclave will also feature participation from the members of the 16th Finance Commission, senior officials of the Panchayati Raj Ministry, the Finance Ministry, and the Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry.
