Since the financial year 2019-20, around 94 lakh candidates have been trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister, Jayant Chaudhary informed that, in the current financial year around 15 lakh candidates have benefitted from the scheme.

In another reply, Government has informed that more than 3 lakh candidates have completed their profile on Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme. Pilot project of the scheme targeted at providing 1 lakh 25 thousand internship opportunities in the current financial year.
