The government today said more than 7 thousand cases are pending in the Supreme Court for more than 10 years. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal informed that out of these cases pending for more than 10 years, nearly 6 thousand are civil cases. In another written reply, the minister said 300,000 cases had been disposed of by the Fast Track Courts in the country by the end of last year.
