Our goal is to make Andhra Pradesh poverty-free by 2029: CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that his goal is to make the state poverty-free by 2029. He said those who have achieved financial success through government policies to step forward and support the underprivileged, helping them grow in all aspects. He said this while launching the “Matsyakara Sevalo” (In the Service of Fishermen) program at Etcherla constituency in Srikakulam district yesterday. He said he has initiated a program where mentors will guide and uplift the poor comprehensively. Mr Naidu said that if financially well-off individuals support poor families in all possible ways, there will be no inequalities in society.

 

The Chief Minister directly interacted with fishermen at Budagatlapalem in Etcherla constituency. As part of the programme, he stated that 20,000 rupees is being provided as financial assistance during the fishing ban period. Additionally, to support children’s education, Mr Naidu announced that starting next month, under the Talli Ki Vandanam scheme, each student would receive 15,000 rupees.
