Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal today informed the Lok Sabha that one thousand sixty three cases are pending in the High Courts for more than 50 years. In a written reply, he said one thousand one hundred thirty four cases are also pending in district and subordinate courts of the country for more than 50 years. The minister said, the Supreme court of India has informed that there are no cases pending for more than 50 years as per data retrieved from their Integrated Case Management Information System.
