On the eve of Ashoora, the 10th day of Muharram, the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha remembered the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
In his message, the Lt Governor said that the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions in Karbala for upholding the values of truth, justice and equality has been guiding the entire humanity to follow the path of righteousness. He observed that on this day, we should imbibe the eternal ideals of Hazrat Imam Hussain and work unitedly for peace, progress and prosperity of the people.
