Oil prices jumped by a per cent today as a potential hurricane approaching the U.S. Gulf Coast helped oil prices recover from the previous week’s heavy losses. In the global crude market, Brent crude was trading 1.3 per cent up to trade at 72 dollars and one cent per barrel. The U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was also trading nearly one and a half per cent up at 68 dollars and 67 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
