Oil prices rose today amid an escalation in geopolitical tensions. Brent Crude was trading nearly half percent up at 73 dollars and 67 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude gained over 0.8 percent to trade at 69 dollars and 95 cents per barrel when reports last came in.
