Oil steadied today as Israel-Hamas talks offered hopes of a ceasefire even as Red Sea attacks continued, while investors awaited signals on US interest rates ahead of a key meeting this week.
The Brent Crude oil futures was up by 0.28 percent at 88 dollar and 65 cents, whereas Western Texas Intermediate was higher by 0.41 percent at 82 dollar and 97 cents when reports last came in.
