Oil prices eased on Monday (19th August 2024) amid concern over demand in top oil importer China weighed on market sentiment.

 

The global oil benchmark Brent crude down by 0.67 percent, to 79 dollars and 15 cents per barrel. The U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is trading down, 0.72 percent to 76 dollars and 10 cents per barrel, when reports last came in.
