Oil prices continued their upward trend today as geopolitical tensions in the West Asia intensified. Brent Crude was trading nearly two percent up at 74 dollars and 25 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude gained more than two percent to trade at 70 dollars and 77 cents per barrel, when the reports last came in.
