Odisha to experience more rain in most parts of state for the coming 3 days starting July 17

With a low-pressure area forming over north Odisha and adjoining areas, the State has been experiencing incessant rainfall for the last two days. According to Bhubaneswar Met Office, Kirmira in Jharshuguda district received the highest amount of 215 mm rainfall, followed by 184.8mm in Laikera in the same district during the past 24 hours. 

Akashvani correspondent reports that Met Department has predicted more rain likely to be experienced in most parts of the State for the coming three days starting tomorrow. Given the above meteorological features, wet spells of monsoon rainfall activity are likely to continue with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in the State. It has issued yellow warnings today to Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Deogarh, Nabarangapur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi and Bargarh districts.
