The National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) in New Delhi to empower marginalized communities through entrepreneurship. Speaking at the event, Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that under this MoU, financial assistance will be provided to the people belonging to the minorities and marginalized communities.
He called the occasion a significant step towards building a self-reliant India by promoting entrepreneurship and empowering individuals to become job creators. Mr. Rijiju added that the memorandum will play a pivotal role in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of financial inclusion.
The partnership between NMDFC and DICCI is expected to serve as a model for collaborative efforts in empowering the marginalized sections of society.
