Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman today came down heavily on Congress over the Tamil Nadu hooch tragedy. She said that 56 people have died and over 200 people are still in hospital in a critical stage, but Congress has not uttered a word against this. Mrs. Sitharaman said, where are Congress senior leaders? She added, that the congress contested elections just because they were assured that they would win. The Finance Minister demanded that this whole matter be given to the CBI for investigation.
