The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology organised the “Yuva Rojgar Mela” today in New Delhi. The primary aim of the fair was to facilitate placement opportunities for NIELIT’s alumni and students. During the event, sixteen companies shortlisted candidates against a thousand-plus job openings in their respective companies. More than thirteen hundred candidates had registered for the job fair.
In his inaugural address, the Director General and Vice Chancellor of NIELIT, Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, highlighted the importance of the job fairs organised by NIELIT across India every year. He said that at least six thousand offer letters were given in the job fairs organised by NIELIT across India last year, and the number is set to increase this year.
