NIA conducts raids at five locations in the J&K terrorist conspiracy case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today conducted raids at five locations in the Jammu and Kashmir terrorist conspiracy case. The agency conducted a raid in the three districts of Shopian, Awantipora, and Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir at the premises of hybrid terrorists and Overground Workers of the outfits and affiliates of Pakistan-backed banned terrorist organizations. The NIA also raided the premises of sympathizers and cadres of the newly floated outfits, namely the Resistance Front, United Liberation Front Jammu and Kashmir, Mujahideen Ghazwat-ul-Hind, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters, Kashmir Tigers,  and others. These outfits are affiliated with various banned Pak-backed organizations like Laskhar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. Several digital devices containing large volumes of incriminating data were recovered by NIA.

NIA investigations have revealed that Pak-based operatives were using social media platforms to promote terror. Drones were being used by them to deliver arms, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics to their operatives and cadres in the Kashmir valley.
