The seventh edition of Asia’s premier digital technology exhibition, India Mobile Congress (IMC) will be held from the 27th of October this year at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The three-day event is being co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications and Cellular Operators Association of India.
This year the theme of the India Mobile Congress-2023 is ‘Global Digital Innovation. Speaking at the Curtain Raiser event of India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, Union Minister for Communications Ashwini Vaishnaw said that IMC has emerged as one of the major technology events in the country. He informed that during last year's India Mobile Congress event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 5G service in the country and India has emerged as the fastest 5G roll-out country in the world.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chauhan said that a major transformation has taken place in the telecommunication sector under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He appealed to all the stakeholders to contribute to making India a developed country.
AIR correspondent reports that the India Mobile Congress 2023, will signify the vision of Prime Minister Modi, to promote India's pivotal role in the digital revolution impacting every sector globally. This includes pioneering breakthroughs in 5G, 6G, broadcasting, satellite, semiconductor, drone, devices, and green technologies. This year IMC is introducing Aspire, the grand Start-Up event that will lay emphasis on igniting the future of entrepreneurship growth among young innovators and industry delegates in the telecom and other digital domains.
