In Nepal, vehicular movement has been obstructed in several places due to landslides triggered by incessant rains. At Budhabagar in the Western region, the Sanfebagar-Martadi road has been blocked, and passenger buses plying from Dhangadhi to Bajura are stranded. The Karnali Highway at Gagnekhola of Kalikot has also been blocked.
Over 400 houses have been submerged due to the flood. Nepal Police informed us that submerged buildings include bridges, schools, and government offices. Over 6,000 families have been displaced due to the disaster since June this year.
