The westerly and local winds now have a partial impact on Nepal. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the Himalayan Nation, including the Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country. In comparison, there are chances of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
