After a landslide caused by torrential rain, the Narayangadh-Butwal road section along the East-West Highway has been obstructed.

There have been continuing effects of the monsoon winds across the country and the low pressure line of the monsoon is still in and around average position. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy across Nepal. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of all the provinces. Heavy rainfall is expected to occur at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces in the next 24 hours.
