NDA MPs today held a protest in Parliament House Complex over yesterday’s incident in which two BJP leaders were injured. The MPs alleged that the Congress party has disrespected Dr B R Ambedkar. BJP leaders Anurag Singh Thakur, Radhamohan Singh, Anil Baluni and others were present during the protest. Talking to the media, BJP General Secretary, Arun Singh said, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should apologize for his alleged misbehaviour with Nagaland MP Phangnon Konyak. He said such an incident had never happened before in the country.

BJP MP Anurag Singh Thakur said the arrogance of Rahul Gandhi that was seen yesterday is very unfortunate.

The Opposition party MPs also held a protest in Parliament House over Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s alleged remarks on Dr B R Ambedkar. During the protest, the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other INDIA Alliance MPs were present.

Talking to media outside Parliament, Priyanka Gandhi asserted that the alleged insult of Dr Ambedkar will not be tolerated in the country. She alleged that this Government is scared to have a discussion on Adani matter. In FIR against Rahul Gandhi, she alleged that this shows the desperation of the government. She also defended Rahul Gandhi over yesterday’s incident in which two BJP MPs got injured.
