In Jharkhand, leaders of the NDA and I.N.D.I.A. bloc have intensified their campaign for the second phase of assembly elections. Political parties are making allegations and counter-allegations to garner the support of the people.
While addressing an election meeting at Tundi in Dhanbad senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slammed Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Singh asserted that it was time to dethrone Soren and vote the BJP to power.
Addressing an election meeting at Godda Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said if I.N.D.I.A alliance is voted to power all promises will be fulfilled.
Senior RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav while addressing a rally at Deoghar alleged BJP for dividing society in the name of religion and caste.
Senior BJP leaders Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Himanta Biswa Sarma and Champai Soren also addressed election rallies at Dumka, Pakur and Jama.
Leaders of AJSU and left parties are also addressing poll rallies and holding road shows in different parts of the state.
The second phase of polling will be on the 20th of this month while counting will take place on the 23rd of November.
