National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma today condemned the alleged misconduct of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA with AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Briefing media in New Delhi, Mrs. Sharma said that it is a matter of grave concern that the former Delhi Commission for Women chief and a prominent advocate of women’s rights has to face such a situation. She further appreciated Ms. Maliwal’s strength to come out and lodge a complaint against the accused. Mrs. Sharma said that NCW has sent a notice to the accused and has asked him to appear before NCW tomorrow. She further added, NCW team can also visit CM house for further enquiry.

It was alleged that Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav had misbehaved with Swati Maliwal at Chief Minister’s residence recently. Ms. Maliwal lodged a complaint with Delhi Police on the same matter yesterday.
