NCP will approach Election Commission on the issue of party's name and symbol: NCP Chief Sharad Pawar

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar informed that NCP will approach the Election Commission on the issue of the party's name and symbol. He held a National Executive meeting today at his residence in Delhi. He called the meeting after Ajit Pawar claimed the party name and symbol. 13 NCP leaders, including PC Chacko, Jitendra Awhad, Fauzia Khan, Vandana Chavan, and more were present at the meeting.
 
Addressing the press, Mr Pawar said they will give their statement to the Election Commission. After the meeting, NCP Leader PC Chacko announced that the NCP's Working Committee approved the decision of Sharad Pawar to expel Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare and nine MLAs who have joined hands with NDA.

Mr Chacko informed the Committee passed eight resolutions today. The Committee expressed its complete faith in the president of the party, Sharad Pawar. Mr Chako added that all party State committees are on the side of Sharad Pawar.
 
Meanwhile, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar appointed Narendra Rane as Mumbai President of the NCP today.
