The religious places of Kashmiri Pandits across Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a rush of Kashmir Pandits and other devotees as the community celebrated the Navreh festival with religious fervour yesterday.

Navreh is the first day of the New Year of the Kashmiri Pandit community. A major celebration took place in Srinagar. Scores of Kashmiri Pandits participate in a major function at Vecharnag Temple in Srinagar and prayed for peace and prosperity for whole mankind.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended greetings to Kashmiri Pandits on the auspicious occasion of Navreh festival.
