Nation pays homage to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his 9th death anniversary

The Nation is paying tribute to the country’s former president and renowned scientist Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on his 9th death anniversary today. Dr. Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of India and one of the most celebrated aerospace scientists. He played a crucial role in India’s space and missile development programmes. He dedicated his life to the service of the nation. Dr. Abdul Kalam is also known as the ‘Missile Man of India’. He died on this day in 2015.

 

Governor of Andhra Pradesh S. Abdul Nazeer offered tributes to Former President of India Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary today. The Governor said Dr. Abdul Kalam was popularly known as the People’s President and made an indelible mark both in the field of science and technology & in public life. Dr. Kalam’s ideals & values will continue to inspire the generations to come, he added.

 

Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tribute to former President and renowned scientist Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr. Shah said that Dr. Kalam’s life was a unique combination of hard work, simplicity and sensitivity, which inspired and motivated the country, especially the youth. He added that Dr. Kalam encouraged everyone with his work and he is popularly known as ‘People’s President’. Mr. Shah said, he told that any goal can be achieved with courage and tireless hard work. The Home Minister said that his thoughts will continue to guide future generations.

 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu paid tributes to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary. The Chief Minister said that Dr. Kalam’s life is an inspiration for the youth of the nation.
