Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally launch the poll campaign of NDA for Lok Sabha elections in Bihar from Jamui tomorrow. Mr. Modi will address a public meeting in Ballopur in Khaira of Jamui district.
Besides Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, party leaders and candidates from NDA will also attend the meeting.
Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party ( Ramvilas ) has retained the Jamui seat in a seat sharing agreement with BJP in NDA. Mr. Paswan has fielded Arun Bharati, his brother-in-law from the constituency, earlier represented by him twice in 2014 and 2019.
Polling will be held on the 19th of April in Jamui Lok Sabha segment along with Gaya, Aurangabad and Nawda under the first phase of Lok Sabha elections.
