The ongoing 25th Hornbill Festival 2024, at Naga Heritage Village in Kisama has seen significant turnout, with a total of over one lakh visitors till yesterday. Adding to more excitement to the festival was the Hornbill Festival 2024.
Last evening the arena of turned into a rock music extravaganza as three of India’s most electrifying bands-Parikrama, Indus Band, and Girish and the Chronicles-took the stage to deliver a performance that left a packed audience roaring for more.
Akashvani correspondent reports, The vibrant crowd, gathered at the festival’s main venue, witnessed an unforgettable evening of music, energy, and celebration, showcasing the diversity of India’s rock scene.
The entire evening was a testament to the growing rock music scene in India, with each band bringing their unique style and sound to the iconic Hornbill Festival.
The packed crowd, a mix of locals, tourists, and rock enthusiasts, reveled in the high-energy performances, making it clear that live music at the festival is becoming a major draw for fans from around the world.
Adding to the excitement, Nagaland’s very own, Fifth Note, the winner of the Ticket to Hornbill 2024 contest, opened the show with their electrifying performances.
Interesting events are lined up for the day which include the cultural show by the North East Zone Cultural Centre, state level log cutting competition, blowing of horns & yelling competition, the Hornbill Carnival Parade among others .
