Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) Kohima, the state's first medical college will begin its first batch of MBBS classes in the 1st week of September.
NIMSR Director cum Dean, Prof. Dr. Soumya Chakraborty, said the date for the commencement of classes will be announced by National Medical Commission.
Dr. Chakraborty said the NIMSR was successful in getting 85 seats filled by candidates from the State of Nagaland and 15 seats from All India Quota.
The Dean also informed that the admission for the 1st Batch of 100 MBBS Seats started today at the Academic Block, NIMSR Campus and will continue till 28th of this month.
