Nagaland today celebrated the 53rd Vijay Diwas along with the rest of the nation. Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has called upon everyone to reaffirm their commitment to the values of unity, courage, and sacrifice on the occasion of Vijay Diwas.

Addressing the celebrations at Jakhama Military Station under Kohima district today, the governor said the day reminds us that our strength as a nation is tied to our ability to stand united, irrespective of challenges.

Lauding servicemen and servicewomen across the nation, La Ganesan said they stand as a testament to commitment and service, and their relentless dedication protects our freedom and nurtures the hope of a safe and prosperous country.

The Governor also acknowledged the families of soldiers for their strength and support, which form the foundation for the soldiers to stand tall.
