The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) commenced its 50th-anniversary celebrations at the Wankhede Stadium yesterday. At the initial event, several Mumbai cricketing legends were honoured including iconic batter Sunil Gavaskar and former player Vinod Kambli by MCA President Ajinkya Naik who presented the memento. The event will honour both male and female cricketers who have represented Mumbai city at the domestic and international levels. The main celebration is scheduled for the 19th of January at the stadium itself.
