The Karnataka Lokayukta police probing the MUDA site allotment case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathi, and others has submitted an interim report to the High Court, saying that there is insufficient evidence to prove the charges. Siddaramaiah’s brother-in-law, Mallikarjuna Swamy, and the landowner, Devaraju, are other accused in the case. The Lokayukta has submitted that the allegation of fraud cannot be proved due to lack of evidence. However, the probe agency has said that it will continue its investigation. The case is also probed by the ED.
