Madhya Pradesh government will honour the medal winners of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 in a ceremony to be held at Bhopal tomorrow.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister  Vishwas Kailash Sarang while interacting with Akashwani News said that the winners and participants in the World Deaf Shooting Championship will also be honoured in the programme. He said that the outstanding players who received the prestigious Vikram Award of the state will also be given appointment letters for government jobs.

Olympic medalist hockey player Vivek Prasad Sagar, Paralympic medalist Judo player  Kapil Parmar, shooting player Rubina Francis and Deaf Shooting Championship winner Sakkal Chetan will be honoured in the ceremony. Similarly, Olympic participants Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Paralympic participants Prachi Yadav and Pooja Ojha will also be felicitated.

In the ceremony, outstanding players who received the Vikram Award from the year 2017 to the year 2022 will be given appointment letters for jobs in Water Resources, Public Works, Urban Development, Energy, Medical Education and Forest Departments.
